Today, I wanted to share two lip products by a brand that needs no introduction. I previously mentioned in another post that I was introduced to two long time favourites through the Sephora Birthday Gift Rewards. I’m quite familiar with the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick but the New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipsticks are entirely new to me.
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick is available in 26 satin finish shades and retails for $38 CAD each. The share range incorporates pinks, dusty roses, medium browns, bold reds, corals and many others. With undertones to match different complexions.
Le Marc Lip Creme is packaged in sleek black, magnetic closure tubes, unique to Marc beauty products.
Majority of the lipsticks provide full coverage with one application, however depending on the shade, some might be slightly sheerer than others. The formula is smooth and creamy but prepping your lips with a lip balm will prevent the product from clinging to dry areas. I would say it is almost weightless on the lips and quite moisturizing.
I tried out the shade True – 254: 
Wear time for Le Marc Lip Creme is about 5+ hours before the initial colour begins to fade. However it’s one of those makeup products that looks even better as time passes and has settled.
Moving on to my first impression of the New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick. These are said to be sheer nude lipsticks with a gel formula. They come encased in nude magnetic closure tubes. New Nudes are available in 11 satin finish and 1 shimmer finish shade. They retail for $38 CAD as well.
They have a faint vanilla scent that wears away pretty quickly. They contain rich monoi butter and vitamin E, which helps the lipstick glide over the lip and keep them hydrated.
Wear time for the New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick is about 4 hours, as it wears it leaves behind a soft tint.

I genuinely adore these two and they have been in my everyday makeup rotation.
