MAC Future Forward Collection

M·A·C’s Future Forward Collection is a collaboration with pop star Halsey, R&B singer Tinashe, rapper Dej Loaf and modern funk queen Lion Babe. Each have a bold statement limited edition product. The Future Forward Collection consists of an eyeshadow palette, lipstick, lipglass and liquidlast liner. I have always loved the new limited edition collections at MAC. Each collection is so unique from the next.

The Tinashe Eye Shadow Palette encases 9 gorgeous shadows in a pretty pattern covering. The shades are:

ALL HANDS ON DECK: light green shimmer (veluxe pearl)
BLACK WATER : black with gold pearl (veluxe pearl)
MIDNIGHT SUN : shimmering mocha (frost)
REVELRY : mauvey purple grey (satin)
FLAME : mint silver shimmer (veluxe pearl)
GLEAM : barely pinked gold (lustre)
VULNERABLE : soft pearly purple (lustre)
AMETHYST : deep purple with pink pearl (satin)
QUARRY : soft muted plum-brown (matte)

It is definitely a very versatile palette. It has all the shades you need to easily create day or night looks. Like always the shadows are highly pigmented and all of the swatches above are with one swipe of the finger. My favourite has to be the matte and satin shades, that glide on so smoothly. This limited edition palette retails for $42 CAD.

Halsey’s Lipstick (an obsession of mine are MAC’s lipsticks) is a grey matte shade. It has a creamy, full coverage formula. It is definitely a daring shade and my first grey/blue lipstick. The hints of blue in it can be seen only when you swatch it. Definitely not like anything I’ve ever worn before, but if you adore daring shades then this is right up your alley. It retails for $21 CAD.

Next in the collection is DEJ LOAF’s Lipglass. It is a tinted caramel shade with a hint of shimmer. It is absolutely gorgeous by itself or when applied over top of another similar shade. The Lipglass retails for $19 CAD.The last item from the collection is Lion Babe’s Liquidlast liner in a gold shade. The liner is packed with shimmer and the looks you could create with it are endless. Double liners, cut creases, bold bottom lines and so many others. The Liquidlast liner will retail for $24 CAD.
