Monday mornings call for an extra large cup of tea or coffee. If you’re an avid caffeine drinker like me then you know exactly how it affects the colour of your teeth. I had the opportunity to try out the Peroxide Free Teeth Whitening Kit by HiSmile. Their kit is peroxide free which is the first thing I looked for because in the process of whitening my teeth I didn’t want to pay the price of transparency and sensitivity. The kit includes 3 peroxide free gels in a syringe, a led light, a mouth guard, teeth whitening shade guide & instruction manual. All placed in a sleek white box.
My very first application was a lot slower than the rest. Per application you measure out 0.75 out of one syringe. The markings are made on the syringe, so it is not difficult to figure out. The kit has 3 syringes meant for a total of 6 applications for 6 consecutive treatments. When applying the gel, I learned that I needed to use a cotton swab to spread out the gel along the mouth guard. Otherwise the gel wouldn’t cover all my teeth and I would have ended up with ombre teeth lol.
The treatment is a lot faster than other teeth whitening regimes I’ve used. It lasts for 10 minutes compared to others which are a minimum of 30 minutes. I didn’t experience any swelling around the gums or any form of irritation which is a big PLUS.
Using the dentist grade teeth whitening shade guide, my teeth started at a 4 or 4.5 and at the end of the treatment I was at a 1! My goal was to have pearly whites and HiSmile definitely delivered!!
